Attack Boats Previous Tournaments and Results - 2007
Built on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia
Gold Coast Minni Bucks Shootout Round 3.
There were 2 Attack boats in the field of 36 teams
Wayne Blundell and Daughter Casey fished as Team Attack Boats for
this round of the Minnibucks.
They fished well on the first day to win their match up with a 2.9kg
bag of 5 bream. Progressing thru to Sunday, Wayne and Casey’s
match up was with Team Hinterland Marine 1 who won the overall round
with a cracking bag of 4.13 kg on the second day of competition.

Attack Boats Pro Team member, Drew Griffith Teamed up with Dave
Whyte from Hinterland Marine. They had a sensational Tournament.
Winning the first days Match up with 5 Bream for 3.41kg and finishing
with the 2nd heaviest bag for the day.
Sunday was an even better day for Drew and Dave.
Fishing the Sea way wall the pair had close to 3.7kg of fish before
making a move up the Nerang River to upgrade, Dave did just that
with a cracker of a bream that weighed 1.22kg and was 38cm to the
Fork.
The 5 fish bag weight for Team Hinterland Marine Attack Boats on
Sunday was 4.13kg, 7.54kg for both days and finishing 500gram’s
ahead of the field.
It was a good tournament and well run by the organisers.

Tweed Heads Round of the ABT
After the Tweed Heads Round of the ABT, 16th and 17th July 2007.ATTACK
BOATS again finished high in the placing’s
Darren “Dizzy” Borg finished 6th on day 1 and backed
up his consistent winning streak to finish 1st on the last day of
competition. Darren picking up a kicker fish half way thru Sundays
competition secured the win for him and took home over $2000.
Steve the “Wizard” Wilson after leading the first day
of competition with a 3.04 kg bag of 5 fish Steve was consistent
again with a good bag again on Sunday but not good enough and finished
just behind Dizzy.
Drew came in 9th on the first day and stayed 9th out of a 53 boat
field. All 3 of the Pro team were seen out at the end of the break
wall looking for the bigger quality fish in tough conditions “The
Attack boats handled the conditions with ease.”
Over 399 kg of Bream were caught on the 2 days of competition and
all were released back into the Tweed River.

Clarence River ABT Super Series
Dizzy Wins The Clarence river 2 YEARS RUNNING!
Drew comes 5th at the Clarence and qualifies for the GF
Gold Coast STC National Bream Classic
Drew Fished the STC on the Gold coast and comes 2nd by 60 grams
what a close finish. Steve Fished the STC and comes 3rd
