Darren comes from a family where you learn to fish before you learn to walk. With knowledge that has been passed down from many generations of highly skilled fishos Darren has been able to compete at the highest level in Australia with much success. Along with his success in fishing he has also succeeded in other sports including Hocky where he was a rep player for ten years and Golf where he won a club championship.
